Have you had a chance to make it out to The Pumpkin Ranch in Winterset yet? If our paths have crossed then you probably received a card from me with a number. Now what? Email me the number that was on the card (if you lost it, no worries - just let me know a little more details as to when we met). It's as easy as that! Please allow me a few days to process your images but know they will be sent as soon as I can! We are both on Facebook so if you have a chance please stop by our pages and say HI! We would love to hear from you!

A short custom video clip is included in any Senior session!
These are a great addition to any welcome table at graduation parties. A new school year has begun . . . With the new year comes new school pictures - indoor or outdoor options available!
Through the end of October : $10 per child includes 2-5 digital images printing release & same day turn-around So you have booked a session - and now you need figure out what to wear. This is the part that I {LOVE} and {HATE}. Just keeping it real. What I have learned though is the best way to go about deciding what to wear is break it down! First thing first, decide on a color scheme. One of the hardest things for me used to be deciding what colors to pair together. How people could just pull pieces in and look so put-together was beyond me, then I got real and found this ---> Design Seeds http://design-seeds.com/ { others include, Pinterest, Polyvore and Google in general } Beautiful combos right? So you pick the color scheme, then what? I narrow it down to 3 - 4 colors. These are the colors that I focus on, I will add other colors such as black/gray/brown when needed. Those neutrals will go with anything thing. Then I layer. Finally, lay it out! This works every time . . . once I have everything picked that I like, I lay it out as I would have it in the picture. Do a few minor adjustments if needed and call it good. I have a very minimalist personality, I like where less is more. BUT everyone is different and that's why I LOVE being a photographer! Still concerned? Still have questions? Let me know, I am here to help. :)
Happy Monday! One of the major challenges I have when picking which picture to print is picking between color or black/white. Often I will print both (I just hang them in different areas of my home). Below is a prime example where I would have difficultly picking which one to print. I am glad this decision is not in my hands this time. :) in love with both! You are one blessed momma Nicole with two very adorable kiddos! <3
Congratulations these proud new parents! These tiny feet will tiptoe with love into your hearts and stay there forever! Love you guys! “Successful people are always looking for opportunities to help others. When I started this blog I had the vision with it to not only include photos from the sessions I am a part of but things that actually happen day to day around the house. Though its not too glamorous, it is still important to me... I consider the following to be a life lesson: Growing up as a child my grandmother was a very instrumental person in my life. She taught me many great life lessons and was a very, very kind soul. I can still hear her say, it's better to give then to get. Everyday I try to live this out. From helping a friend who needs a break for a few hours, to treating the person behind me at Starbuck's by paying for their drink to blessing someone with an unexpected gift. Be it big or small - it doesn't matter, what's important is love behind it. Being genuine. Giving to bless not to reap. This world is filled with so many people that are caught up in materialistic ways and consumed with thoughts of "What's in it for me?" It's very unfortunate, but at the same time it's a lesson that needs to be taught to my children and those of their generation. The video below rings true to what I'm thinking about. If you have a few free moments I encourage you to watch it. :) Happy Tuesday everyone! “Parenthood...It's about guiding the next generation, and forgiving the last.” - Peter Krause From mother to daughter to granddaughter. Beauty surrounds them. <3
Mothers hold their children's hands for a short while, but their hearts forever. - Anonymous Creating a special memory for new parents is one of my greatest joys. Be it a photo, card, video or visit. When you truly love something, it shows. Have you thought about having a video made to capture this once in a lifetime memory? Pictures are changed with each passing year, (a time where I reflect on the 7 or 8 pictures I have in each picture frame) but a short sweet video to watch, that would be pretty nice to have too.
